  • Is A Nice Indian Boy a published play? If yes, where can I get a copy? I would like to do Megha’s monologue that I saw in the book ‘Monologue for Actors of Colour: women’ for my diploma exam.

It’s not a published play, but yes a monologue is in that book! Hope your exam went well. 🙂

  • Madhuri, we saw your play A nice Indian boy on Saturday at Cubberly theatre and we stayed back for the Q and A. We thoroughly enjoyed to show and were in splits all thru’ . Fantastic work and look forward to seeing more of them in the Bay Area. Also, loved your green and gold dress I am going to get something similar for my 24 year old daughter. Good luck and take care Nina Walvekar

Thank you so much! I love my green dress too 🙂 I got it tailored in India, based on the pattern of one of my favorite eshakti.com dresses.

  • any chance you’ll run Queen at Berkeley Rep? i saw it in Chicago and loved it. seems a good fit for our local theater.

Thank you so much! I agree with you. 😉 Where the play gets produced is not up to me – it’s up to the theater companies themselves. So fingers crossed that the play gets to go beyond Chicago. 🙂

  • Press and production photos for QUEEN!

    “RECOMMENDED
Brainy & Entertaining. This timely story about the interplay of science, conscience and the heart offers a most winning test case.”
    -Chicago Sun-Times

“Awesome! Two powerhouse women fighting convention. QUEEN lifts up women in a way that’s intellectual and passionate.”
    -PerformInk

“Intriguing, funny, and highly relevant. A cerebral version of the sexual cat-and-mouse games.”
    -TheaterJones

“Engrossing. An excellent quartet of players… who give performances of conviction and realism. QUEEN should go forth into the regional theatre world as a popular selection.”/
